The saga
TORVA is a shieldmaiden who waited a thousand winters, until the thunder woke her.
Each song is one of her stories: a widow who takes up her husband's shield, a rider who chooses her warriors at dawn, a daughter who reforges her father's broken sword. Low, raw vocals in Norwegian, frame drums and the chants of a whole clan.
